Your account
You need an account to make songs. Keep your login safe — you're responsible for what happens under it. One person per account.
Credits & payments
One credit makes one song. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew until you cancel. Yearly plans are billed once a year and refill your credits every month. Subscription credits refresh each month and don't roll over. Credit packs never expire. Failed generations are refunded as credits automatically. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Parody & style
ZimpleMusic lets you create songs inspired by the style of artists, including parody. You agree not to present anything you make as a real recording or official release by any artist, not to use generations to impersonate or deceive, and not to make content that is hateful, harassing, or targets private individuals.
Voice & likeness
A song styled after an artist is parody and inspiration — never the real thing. Don't use one to make people believe the artist actually performed or endorsed it, don't sell or release it as that artist's work, and don't put words in a real private person's mouth. Artists and rights holders can ask us to remove a shared song on our takedown page.
What you make
Your lyrics are yours. Songs you generate are stored in your account so you can play and download them. You're responsible for how you use and share them, including respecting other people's rights.
Sharing
Songs are private until you share them. A share link is public: anyone who has it can listen and see the song's title, tags and lyrics, until you turn sharing off. We may remove shared songs that break these terms.
Invites & bonus credits
Referral bonuses are promotional credits. They have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred, and we may revoke them if we see abuse such as fake or duplicate accounts.
Fair use of the service
Don't abuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
Privacy
We store your email, your planets, your songs and your billing status — only what's needed to run the service. We never sell your data. The details are in our privacy policy.
Changes
The service is improving constantly and these terms may change. We'll tell you about important changes before they apply.
